As I stepped into PAUL, I was immediately captivated by the rich aromas of baked goods and freshly brewed coffee. The décor strikes a balance between modern elegance and traditional French patisserie charm, creating a warm atmosphere that is perfect for unwinding. The location is not just convenient; it offers a true taste of Casablanca's diverse culture.
From the glowing reviews of satisfied patrons, highlights include their remarkable specialties in bakery and desserts. Jihad Mekroud's recommendation of the caramel éclair and a classic cappuccino speaks volumes about the quality and craftsmanship involved. The delectable fruit tart also garners rave reviews, confirming that sweet treats are indeed the forte of PAUL. Mohammed Younus noted that while their desserts shine, there’s room for enhancement in other menu items. Still, the overall atmosphere, complemented by attentive staff, creates a welcoming experience.
Customer experiences vary, but most echo a sentiment of appreciation for the charming outdoor patio, praised by Audi Ahmed as a beautiful escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. This makes PAUL not just a café, but a serene retreat. Even Robbie Cotterill found delightful interactions with the friendly staff, overcoming language barriers to explore the menu options. The mint tea may have leaned a bit sweet for some, yet it adds to the authentic Moroccan café experience.
While there are a few mentions of service that could use improvement, the vibrant energy and community feel of PAUL ensures that visitors leave with satisfied palates. Whether you’re stopping by for a sweet afternoon treat or a casual coffee with friends, PAUL - Casablanca 20250 promises a delightful experience in the heart of Morocco. “ I had a desert and a coffee. Quality was nice, I can recommend the caramel eclair and normal cappuccino. Also the fruit tart is very nice. Location is good as well. It’s in a nice neighborhood, in the center of Morocco. Plenty other things you can do around. Prices were absolutely fair. People are very diverse. Come here for a coffee and a sweet in the late afternoon and sit in the terrace outside ”
“ Very good in their specialties (bakery and desserts) but they need lil improvements in the other items they serve. Nice atmosphere with very polite and trained staff ”
“ Nicest Paul location I’ve ever visited. Great servers and the patio is beautiful and hidden from the busy streets. ”
“ The Patisserie was welcoming and despite my lack of French of Arabic, the friendly staff translated and explained many things to me. I also had a mint tea in the adjoining cafe. This was a little too sweet for my taste. ”
“ Went there to meet some friends, so didn't really knew what to expect. Price : they have some good deals and the food is overall good and I really liked the burger. Service : a lot to improve especially for a known place, the order took way too much time and didn't came at once. The waiter seemed offended everytime someone ordered something. Overall it was okay which is not what you expect in a place like this ”
“ Great service and delicious food . ”
